Education has always been at the heart of the Cape to Cape Explorers and Education ethos and vision. The Education division of Cape to Cape Explorers is able to provide a range of educational experiences that can assist with transforming classroom learning into hands on practical understanding.
We can provide opportunities to further develop student knowledge and link experiences to curriculum requirements.
The team have experience with Australian ATAR subjects along with UK based A Level Syllabus’
Topics covered include: Geography – Earth and Environmental Science – Biology – Outdoor Education

GEOGRAPHY AND EARTH SCIENCES
The Margaret river region offers excellent opportunities to study a variety of Geographical features and processes. Ancient Granite formed due to tectonic activity and relatively young Limestone have been worn away by the ocean and weathering to create some stunning features that can be studied.
Geomorphic features, Coastal features, Alluvial Features, Sub-terranean features can all be observed and studied.

Outdoor Education
The Margaret river region offers excellent opportunities for outdoor education.
A mixed and stunning landscape awaits suitable for exploration on water, on land and below ground.
A range of activities can be catered for including Kayaking, Surfing, Hiking, Mountain Biking, High Ropes, Caving and more.

BIOLOGY – Flora and Fauna
The Margaret river region sits in a biodiversity hotspot with species of both plants and animal that are endemic to this region.
The freshwater systems have rare and unique species and the Coastal waters offer a mix of Southern Ocean and Indian Ocean waters with the Leeuwin Current influencing species found here.
The unique Karri Forests offer a glimpse into the what was once a vast forest and is now home to many threatened species.

Nature walks progam
Designed for primary students aged 4-11 over the course of one or more terms, this program provides the opportunity to explore the wonders of the Cape to Cape Track, share memorable moments and foster meaningful connections.
With a focus on learning and self-development, immersive nature experiences, nature play, local environments and culture – plus environmental awareness and sustainability.
CONSERVATION
At Cape to Cape Education we are passionate about the environment and conserving the natural world for future generations.
Schools and Youth Groups can contribute as a part of their camp or day trip to environmental protection and conservation on Boodja.
Activities include:
Bush Regeneration; brushing, planting, removal of non-native invasive weeds.
Beach Clean ups; collecting plastic and other waste from our beaches
